This everything bagel salmon is an easy, flavorful weeknight dinner that comes together on one sheet pan in under 20 minutes. Coated in crunchy everything but the bagel seasoning, the salmon bakes perfectly alongside veggies like asparagus or green beans for a complete meal with minimal cleanup.
Add parchment paper or silicone liner to a baking sheet. Spray lightly with non-stick spray.
Add the salmon filets (skin side down) to the baking sheet and sprinkle the salmon with 1/4 teaspoon salt and the everything bagel seasoning. Pat down lightly to make sure it sticks
Add the asparagus spears to the baking sheet. Be sure to trim away the tough ends of the asparagus. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder
1 pound asparagus stalks, ½ teaspoon sea salt, ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Bake in a 425F oven for 12 minutes.
Serve salmon hot or cold

Tips for perfectly cooked salmon
Use an instant-read thermometer – Salmon is perfectly cooked at 135–140°F (carryover heat will bring it to 145°F). This takes the guesswork out!
Look for opaque flesh – The color should change from translucent to a light pink and the fish should flake easily with a fork.
Don’t overcook – Salmon can go from tender to dry quickly. Check for doneness at the 12-minute mark, especially with thinner fillets.
Cooking Burnout Meal Plan:
Keep the effort low by using a bag of frozen green beans in place of the asparagus. No need to defrost the green beans, just put them on the baking sheet in a single layer next to the salmon, coat with a little avocado oil, the 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
I recommend serving this with Instant Pot Quinoa or you can use frozen rice or quinoa for an even easier meal.
Storing leftovers
Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.Serve leftovers cold (they are great flaked in a wrap) or reheat in an air fryer for 3 minutes on 350F.
