Start by measuring out the ingredients in a blender in the order listed.
1 cup frozen raspberries, ½ cup frozen spinach, 1 serving protein powder, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 1 cup dairy free milk, 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Blend until smooth and serve.
Notes
If you are using fresh raspberries or fresh spinach, you will want to add some ice (between 1/4 - 1/2 cup) to ensure you get the best texture.
I don't use a very sweet protein powder, so I like adding maple syrup or honey. If your protein powder is very sweet, you can omit this.
Use your favorite protein powder. I love vanilla, chocolate or peanut butter protein powder in this recipe.
