Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender.
1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen), 1 medium banana (can be frozen), 1 cup dairy free milk, 3 tablespoons cacao powder, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional), 1 scoop collagen peptides or protein powder (optional)
Blend on high 30 seconds - 1 minute until smooth.

Use frozen bananas - Frozen bananas are key for a thick, creamy texture. Fresh bananas won’t give you the same consistency.
Use frozen strawberries (or adjust) - Frozen strawberries work best. If using fresh, add ¼–½ cup ice to keep the smoothie cold and thick.
Use a high-speed blender or blend in stages - If your blender isn’t very strong, blend the bananas, strawberries, chia seeds, and milk first. Then add the remaining ingredients and blend again.
Storing leftovers
Freezer: pour leftovers into popsicle molds! These are even better if you add some avocado to the smoothie before freezing.
