– Rice + water – Coconut aminos – Rice wine vinegar – Maple syrup – Ginger – Dried chives – Salt – Garlic powder – Arrowroot powder – Ground chicken – Frozen peas and carrot

Step 1

Rinse the rice and add it to the instant pot with fresh water. Cook 3 minutes high pressure, manually release pressure.


Step 2

Combine the coconut aminos, rice wine vinegar, maple syrup and spices n a bowl.


Step 3

Mix the arrowroot powder with water. Stir until fully dissolved then pour into teriyaki sauce mixture. Stir well.


Step 4

Preheat a large skillet over medium to medium high heat. Cook the ground chicken 5-6 minutes until no longer pink.


Step 5

Pour the teriyaki sauce over the cooked chicken. Stir well and cook 2-3 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.


Step 6

Once the sauce starts to thicken, add the frozen veggies and cook 2-3 minutes until the veggies are warmed through.


Step 7

Assemble the ground chicken rice bowls. Add rice, the teriyaki ground chicken mixture and whatever toppings you love.
