Ingredients

Optional Toppings to Coat With:

  • Hemp Seeds
  • chopped goji berries
  • dried coconut
  • sugar
  • .5 cup Cacao powder

Instructions

  • Add the coconut flakes and puree until a rough powder.
  • Add the coconut oil and maple syrup. Blend in a high-speed blender until it turns buttery smooth. This will take up to 10-15 minutes. Scrape the sides down every minute.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Taste and see if it is too bittersweet for you. Add more maple syrup if needed.
  • Transfer to a bowl and add cacao until all the excess oil/syrup is soaked up and mixed in.
  • Shape small balls with your hands and coat (sugar, hemp seeds, coconut, etc.).
  • Serve!
  • *I store these in the refrigerator just to be safe but prefer to eat them at room temperature.
