Small batch gluten free chocolate chip oatmeal cookies made in the air fryer! Ready in just 6 minutes (oven instructions too)! Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth! Naturally vegan, plant based and dairy free!

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup applesauce - 1 tbsp. ground flax - 1 tbsp. oat flour (or gf flour) - 1.5 tbsp coconut sugar (or brown sugar) - 1/2 tsp. baking powder - pinch salt - 1 tsp. vanilla (optional) - 1/3 cup oats - 2 tbsp. tahini, peanut butter or almond butter - 3 tbsp. vegan chocolate chips

Add applesauce and ground flax to a large bowl. Stir well to combine.

Add oat flour, salt and baking powder to the applesauce mixture. Stir well to fully combine.

Add the coconut sugar, vanilla extract and oats. Stir well.

Once oats are fully combined, add the tahini (or peanut butter or almond butter) and stir well to incorporate.

Last, add the chocolate chips and stir well to ensure they are well mixed in.

Cut holes in parchment paper and fit it in the air fryer basket.

Scoop out 1 tablespoon of batter for each cookie. Makes 6-7 cookies. Flatten the cookies with your hand.

Bake the cookies in air fryer at 350F for 6 minutes. Let cool 1-2 minutes so you can easily remove the cookies.

Make these cookies in the oven instead. Preheat the oven to 375F and cook for 12 minutes.
