Add about 1 inch of water to a pot with tight fitting lid. Cook on high heat until water comes to a boil.

Once water is boiling, add steamer basket and eggs and cover. Cook for 12 minutes.

Add cold water and ice to a bowl. Once eggs are done, transfer eggs to ice water bath for 3-4 minutes.

After 3-4 minutes, crack the shell and peel the eggs.
