INGREDIENTS

– Brussel sprouts – Olive oil – Apple cider vinegar – Salt – Garlic powder – Paprika – Turmeric

Step 1

Cut away any brown stems on the brussels. Add the brussel sprouts to a steamer basket and steam for 7-9 minutes.

While the brussel sprouts are steaming, mix together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar and spices.

Once the brussel sprouts are soft, place them on a cutting board and smash with a heavy cup or bowl.

Add a single layer of the smashed brussel sprouts to the air fryer. Brush the tops with the turmeric sauce.

Cook in a 390F for 10 minutes.

At the 5 minute mark, pause the air fryer and flip the brussels. Brush the other side with the turmeric sauce. Cook the remaining 5 minutes.

Repeat this process with the rest of the brussel sprouts, cook remaining batches for 9 minutes instead of 10.
