The Easiest Roasted Red Pepper Sauce


Dairy free roasted red pepper sauce is so easy to make, all you need is a high speed blender. This healthy pasta sauce is thickened with cashews (no coconut milk).

– Roasted red peppers – Cashews – Water – Lemon juice – Tomato paste – Salt – Garlic powder

Step 1

Soak the cashews in hot water for at least 5 minutes.


Step 2

Drain the water from the cashews (discard it). Add the cashews and the rest of the ingredients to the blender.


Step 3

Blend on high for at least 1 minute until the sauce is thick and smooth.


If using this to make roasted red pepper pasta, reserve some of the pasta water to thin out the sauce.
