– Chuck roast – Water – Tomato paste – Coconut aminos – Dried chives – Salt

Step 1

Set the instant pot to saute. Remove any excess fat and sear the meat 2-3 minutes per side.


Step 2

Add 1/2 cup water and scrape down the bottom of the instant pot to get rid of brown bits on bottom.


Step 3

Add tomato paste, coconut aminos, salt, dried chives to the instant pot and stir well.


Step 4

Add the seared beef and the rest of the water to the instant pot.


Step 5

Cook on high pressure for 1 hour. Allow pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes. Shred with 2 forks.
