– Apples – Lemon juice – Coconut sugar (or light brown sugar) – Arrowroot powder (or cornstarch) – Cinnamon – Cloves – Almond flour – Walnuts – Avocado oil – Maple syrup – Salt

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350F. Peel and slice the apples.


Step 2

Place the apples in a bowl with lemon juice, coconut sugar, arrowroot powder, cinnamon and cloves. Stir well to coat all the apples.


Step 3

Add the apples to a large casserole dish. Spread them into a single layer.


Step 4

Make the crisp topping by combining the almond flour, walnuts and the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.


Step 5

Sprinkle the crisp topping over the apples.


Step 6

Bake in a 350F oven for 40-45 minutes. Allow to cool slightly after baking.
