INGREDIENTS

– Maple syrup – Peanut butter – Vanilla extract – Salt – Brown rice cereal (or Rice Krispy cereal) – Chocolate chips

Step 1

Combine maple syrup and peanut butter in a bowl. Microwave 1 minute or heat on the stove over medium heat for 5-6 minutes. Stir well.

Add brown rice cereal, vanilla extract and salt. Stir well to fully coat the cereal with peanut butter mixture.

Add peanut butter rice krispy cereal mixture to a casserole dish. Press down firmly.

Melt chocolate in a bowl in microwave 1 minute. Pour on top of peanut butter krispy bars. Spread to evenly cover.

Put in the fridge (5-10 minutes) or the freezer (5 minutes) to set. Let rest on counter 5 minutes before cutting.
