INGREDIENTS

– Brussel sprouts – Dijon mustard – Olive oil – Salt – Garlic powder – Dried thyme – Ground sage – Sweet potatoes – Chicken apple sausage

Step 1

Cut brussel sprouts in half or quarters.

Step 2

Add brussel sprouts to large bowl. Add dijon mustard, olive oil, and spices. Stir well. Place brussels on baking sheet.

Chop sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes.

Put sweet potatoes in bowl and add olive oil and salt. Stir well. Add to baking sheet with brussels.

Bake sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts in 425F oven for 20 minutes.

Cut sausages into coins.

After 20 minutes, remove sweet potatoes and brussels from oven. Stir well then add sausage coins. Bake 425F for 10 more minutes.

DIRECTIONS

– Use different vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, onions) – Swap sweet potatoes for potatoes or butternut squash or cauliflower for low carb meal – Make it sweeter with some maple syrup – Use a different flavor sausage and different spices.
