INGREDIENTS

1 .25 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breast 1/3 cup coconut aminos 3 tbsp. rice wine vinegar 2 tbsp. maple syrup (or 2 dates, pitted and soaked) 1 tbsp. fresh grated ginger 1 tbsp dried chives 1 tsp salt

Step 1

Combine all the marinade ingredients in a large bowl.

Add chicken to teriyaki sauce and soak at least 15 minutes.

Using tongs or a fork, move chicken to air fryer basket.

Cook at 375F for 10 minutes. Be sure to check internal temperature (165F).

For chicken breast, be sure to butterfly the chicken (to make it thinner) or cut the chicken into 1-2 inch cubes so that it will cook quickly.
