Well we are ending the first official week of work for the new year, man it went quick. Seems like time is on fast forward. I’m trying my best to slow down but there just seems to be a never ending list of “to-do’s” and I have goals so I’ve gotta be smarter with my time.
Luckily I can get a killer workout done in 15 minutes. Like can’t walk jello legs in 15 minutes. It’s hard work but like I always said to my bootcamp members. What’s 20 seconds? So I wanted to share with you my favorite way to workout – HIIT. I’ve talked about my love of interval training in the past and it’s not going anywhere in 2015!.

Hello Jello Legs HIIT Workout
Burpees – try for 10 in 20 seconds!!
Squat front kick – squat low then alternate kicking to the front. I aim to get my foot as high in the last round as I did in the first. Those squats will get you!!
Mountain climbers – I used sliders but they aren’t necessary. Make sure you start in plank and keep your back flat!
Pulse jump lunges – jump lunge then pulse twice at the bottom, jump lunge to the other side and pulse. Repeat 20 seconds.
Heisman – you will move laterally, doing the same motion as running in place. After three counts you pull your knee up high and switch positions. I found this in P90X and loved them!
Crunchy frog – Another P90x favorite here. Start in boat with arms to the sides and then crunch you knees in and wrap arms into knees keeping feet elevated. Then back to boat.
Here’s a great total body workout that would complement this workout perfectly.
