First impressions and lasting impressions have been on my mind a lot lately as I move closer to my new career! As you may know, I’m currently in the middle of studying for my Personal Training Certification and it is a bit overwhelming. Not only do I need to learn all this information (hello every muscle in the body!). But, I’m also beginning to think about the first impressions I’m going to have to make as a trainer. I’m going to have to fill the role of the ‘knowledgeable fit trainer’, but I also want to look friendly and approachable as well. I want people to feel comfortable approaching me for help! The quote that comes to mind for me is “You never get a second chance, to make a first impressions.”
When was the last time I had to make a good first impression? I will be making those important first impressions everyday soon! Interviewing at gyms, taking on new clients, and eventually meeting up with other bloggers at conferences. So what is a good first impression all about? How can I come across warm and sincere, since I will genuinely want to help clients achieve their goals?
My SMILE!! Smiling is so addicting and contagious!
I took an honest look in the mirror the other day and declared I needed to start a teeth whitening program. Unfortunately, all this coffee and tea I’ve been drinking to stay up and study has taken a toll on my teeth! I’ve always had one of those big, show all my teeth smiles. I’ve never had braces and I’ve always been pretty proud of my smile. I learned at an early age how far a smile can get you, after moving across the country to a new school at the awkward middle school age of 12. So I’ve always done what I can to keep my smile pristine.
But, my favorite indulgences, wine, tea, coffee,h ave really started taking a toll on my smile. I don’t know about you but I can’t just give up those 3-4 cups of coffee or tea that I have become so accustomed to having everyday! So I started looking around for options on whitening these beauties! I wanted something that was going to be gentle on my teeth but fast acting! Luckily, I was able to find Colgate® Optic White® Express White Toothpaste in my local Walmart! You get noticeable whitening in just 3 days*! I wanted to try this before going to the more expensive (and time consuming) methods because I figured this would be perfect for when I start interviewing at gyms and training my clients. No added fuss, I whiten while I brush!
I’ve been using Colgate® Optic White® Express White for 3 days and I’m definitely seeing a difference in my teeth, just by brushing! I also love that Colgate® Optic White® Express White has 2x more of the professionally recommended whitening ingredient, hydrogen peroxide vs Optic White Sparkling Mint. This is brightening my smile! It bubbles in my mouth and I can just feel it cleaning my teeth!
Now that I’ve got Colgate® Optic White® Express White toothpaste to help me achieve a white, beautiful smile, I will be stress free while I have another cup of coffee while I study! I can finally get back to thinking about passing my exam and less about my first impression! I know I will rock any interview and will win over new clients with my bright smile and genuine attitude!
