Happy Wednesday y’all! I’m super excited for my day and I hope you are as well! I have a run scheduled on my calendar with one of my best girlfriends and the weather here in NC is nothing short of perfect for running lately! We will be turning our run into a cardio ab burner combo!
I went to the gym yesterday feeling inspired by one of my old group exercise teachers. She ran a sub 7:30 mile and I was feeling a bit jealous. So I hopped on the treadmill and decided to run high intensity intervals for 15 minutes. I made it 1.77 miles in 15 minutes. Not too shabby! Here’s the workout breakdown.
As I’ve said before, I love running with a friend – the run always flies by and we get to catch up on the week – good times for sure! Along with the run we are also going to do a 10 minute ab burner tonight. I’ll be sure to share the workout with you. We like to play a game where we alternate calling out our favorite exercise each time the buzzer goes off (1 minute intervals). It keeps me on my toes and normally ends up being killer! She was in my bootcamp and Zumba classes and is pretty darn hardcore, so I’m always up for the challenge! And yes she is the one who kicked my butt in the AMRAP challenge last week! After your turn, here’s the ab workout portion of the cardio ab burner combo so you can get your sculpted abs as well! Dave wanted to add a little weight to the workout so we did the first round with a dumbbell (and we felt it)!
Set timer for 1 minute intervals. 2 Rounds total for 10 minutes

** We did 30 seconds with weights and 30 seconds extended side crunch! HOLY MOLY it burned so good 🙂
