Whether you are travelling or just can’t make it to the gym because of Black Friday shopping, at home workouts are the perfect solution for moving the body after the glutton of Thanksgiving. Even if you are reading this at some other time, I’m sure we can all agree sometimes we just need a quick workout to reset our mindset back to a more healthy, balanced outlook.
I’m a firm believer that all you really have to do is start moving your body. Once you have your workout clothes on, shoes tied and have a workout in your hands ready to go, you are through the hardest part. Now all you have to do is move your body. Sometimes motivation is the hardest part of exercise and healthy living.
I hear this all the time from my clients actually. They tell me how they didn’t want to get out of their warm bed and come train with me, but knew that as soon as they walked into the gym they would find the energy. Well sometimes I get like that about my home workouts. There are so many distractions and I always feel like there are a thousand other things I should be doing instead of my workout. But I get dressed and show up just like I’m walking into the gym. I don’t let these excuses and distractions keep me from my goal. However I do have a confession, it’s not always easy.
That’s why I have a set of go-to workouts that I go to for these days when it feels tough to get motivated. They don’t require any equipment and are under 20 minutes. I love the variety and I guarantee you I never get bored. Workouts like this can make the difference between meeting my goals and feeling like I didn’t give it my all at the end of the week. Although I’m a huge believer in balance, the days I have a workout scheduled I try to stick to that plan, whether or not I actually make it to the gym. So what are some of my favorite at home workouts that don’t require any equipment?#noexcuses get your workout on at home or in the gym with this round up of at home workouts, no equipment… Click To Tweet
